Southwood's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Wes-Del, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Southwood skirted past Wes-Del 2-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
