Basketball Recap: Hamlin Piles Up the Points Against Tiospa Zina

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hamlin). They breezed by the Tiospa Zina Wambdi to the tune of 62-25 on Thursday. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Wambdi are ranked 98th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for Tiospa Zina, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Hamlin will venture away from home to square off against Sioux Falls Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sioux Falls Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hamlin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tiospa Zina, they will face off against Milbank at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
