Volleyball Recap: Paradise Takes a Loss

Paradise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Colusa RedHawks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the RedHawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Paradise may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Among those leading the charge was Marlie Berry, who had six aces and five digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Paradise's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Colusa, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season.

Paradise does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colusa, after both having extra time off, they and Pierce will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
