Football Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 19-12 to the Orlando Science Orcas. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 20-13 to the Orcas when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian lost, don't look at Victoriah Alvarado. Despite the final result, she threw for 180 yards and one touchdown on only 14 passes.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Orlando Science, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Faith Christian has already played their next matchup, a 13-0 defeat against Lyman on the 28th. As for Orlando Science, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-6 loss against Pompano Beach on the 1st.
