Recap: Woodlawn Warriors vs. Franklin Indians
The Woodlawn Warriors won against the Franklin Indians last Thursday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Woodlawn rang in the new year with a 53-40 victory over Franklin. The victory was familiar territory for Woodlawn who now have three in a row.
Jordan Harding continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Woodlawn's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyn House, who scored 19 points.
Woodlawn's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4. As for Franklin, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-6.
Woodlawn will head out on the road to face off against Towson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Dundalk at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dundalk is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
