While St. Dominic's win against St. Francis Borgia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crusaders had just enough and edged out the Knights 3-2. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (100-96) St. Dominic actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 24-26, 7-25, 15-13.

Maddy Mannebach paced St. Dominic's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mannebach got some help from Charlotte Bland and her 19 assists. Maria Nettler controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

St. Dominic's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for St. Francis Borgia, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

St. Dominic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Visitation Academy on the 22nd. As for St. Francis Borgia, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Father Tolton on the 22nd.
