Volleyball Recap: O'Bryant Takes a Loss

The O'Bryant Tigers came up short against the West Springfield Terriers on Saturday and fell 3-1. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 17-25, 25-17.

Otavio Perks paced O'Bryant's offense, picking up 18 kills. Perks got some help from Max Dong and his 26 assists. Finally, Chinaza Uyanwune kept O'Bryant's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

O'Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West Springfield, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Bryant will head out to face off against Greater New Bedford RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Springfield, they will venture away from home to square off against Agawam at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
