Volleyball Recap: Geraldine Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lincoln

There's no place like home for Geraldine, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lincoln Golden Bears on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Geraldine not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lincoln between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Bracelyn Fisher paced Geraldine's offense, picking up eight kills. Fisher got some help from Piper Summerville and her 19 assists. Mylee Pittman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win got Geraldine back to even at 2-2. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Geraldine and Lincoln will both be playing Hartselle the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
