Soccer Recap: Christian Learning Center Victorious

Christian Learning Center was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Heartland. This was a revenge game for Christian Learning Center: when they faced off against Heartland on Friday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Samuel Heffernan and Archer Simmons scored both of Christian Learning Center's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Christian Learning Center's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Heartland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Christian Learning Center and Heartland will both be playing Center Place the next time they take the pitch. Christian Learning Center will host Center Place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Heartland will host them at 4:30 p.m. on the 18th.
