Katahdin is 9-0 against Ashland since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Katahdin Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Ashland Hornets at 5:30 p.m. Katahdin will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Katahdin against Van Buren as the squad secured an 81-17 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ashland came into Monday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Grand on Monday, sneaking past 43-41.

Katahdin has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Ashland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.

Everything came up roses for Katahdin against Ashland when the teams last played on January 8th, as the team secured a 78-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Katahdin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
