Recap: Kennedy Eagles vs. Bethel Jaguars
If the Kennedy Eagles were riding high off their 56-36 takedown of Envision Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Kennedy was outmatched by Bethel at home and fell 69-29. Kennedy has not had much luck with Bethel recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Kennedy saw an underclassman step up: Marvin Singleton scored 13 points.
Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Bethel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will square off against Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bethel won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Richmond comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
