Basketball Game Preview: Round Rock Dragons vs. Vandegrift Vipers

The Round Rock Dragons will face off against the Vandegrift Vipers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Round Rock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Vandegrift likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Round Rock lost to Stony Point on the road by a 70-55 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Vandegrift, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over Round Rock Westwood on Friday.

Vandegrift has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. As for Round Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-10.

Round Rock strolled past Vandegrift in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-39. Does Round Rock have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vandegrift turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
