Triad Baptist Christian Academy is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since March 7th on Tuesday. They lost 11-3 to Burlington Christian Academy. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Union Grove Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Conquerors. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Union Grove Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Triad Baptist Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy took their win against Union Grove Christian in their previous meeting on April 8th by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
