Recap: Tintic Miners vs. Pinnacle Panthers
The Tintic Miners won the last time they faced the Pinnacle Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Tintic came out on top against Pinnacle by a score of 53-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tintic.
Tintic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Larsen out in front who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Haygen Jameson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Tintic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Pinnacle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Tintic will be playing in front of their home fans against Monticello at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pinnacle, they will head out on the road to face off against Maeser Prep Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
