Recap: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Cane Bay Cobras
The White Knoll Timberwolves put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Cane Bay for the full four quarters, racking up a 28-0 victory at home. Considering White Knoll has won seven contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Landon Sharpe was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Cunningham, who picked up 58 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
White Knoll's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Cane Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
White Knoll will take on Fort Dorchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cane Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
