Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland's tournament run continued when they took on Lincoln on Friday. The Highland Rebels took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Wolves are ranked 34th).

Highland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Highland will face off against Riverview at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-63 win against Lee on the 28th.
