Eastland came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Eastland's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Eastland will square off against Newman Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, they will head out to face off against Hinckley-Big Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
