Football Recap: Gresham Comes Up Short

Gresham and Summit squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Gresham had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Storm 57-10. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Gophers couldn't push the score so high this time.

The loss snapped Gresham's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Summit, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Gresham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summit, they will host West Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Storm's offense will have their work cut out for them.
