Baseball Recap: McCreary Central Comes Up Short

Clay County hit McCreary Central with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1. The Raiders have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

McCreary Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Clay County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

The Tigers are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
