Cretin-Derham Hall and Mounds View are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders will be playing at home against the Mounds View Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cretin-Derham Hall will bounce into Thursday's match after beating White Bear Lake, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Cretin-Derham Hall narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past White Bear Lake 74-71.

Meanwhile, Mounds View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 77-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodbury.

Cretin-Derham Hall is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Mounds View, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.
