Soccer Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville lost against Normal West back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings came up short against the Wildcats, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that Danville have lost by exactly seven goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Danville and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Normal West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danville will head out to square off against Monticello at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Normal West, they will take on Pekin in a tournament on Wednesday.
