The Cambridge Bluejays will head out on the road to face off against the Monona Grove Silver Eagles at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Monona Grove took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cambridge, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Cambridge got the win against New Glarus by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Glarner Knights: they've now won four in a row.
Cambridge not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept New Glarus between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.

Cambridge can attribute much of their success to Vivian Fisher, who had 11 digs and one assist, and Cally Travis, who had ten assists and three digs. Those 11 digs gave Fisher a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Monona Grove suffered their biggest defeat since September 9th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to DeForest. The loss continues a trend for the Silver Eagles in their meetings with the Norskies: they've now lost five in a row.
Monona Grove was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-14.
Cambridge will have to keep a close watch on Payton Hanson and Emma Tormey, a pair of players who had a big impact on Monona Grove's prior game. Hanson had six digs and two aces, while Tormey had four digs.
Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Monona Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
