Softball Recap: West Mesa Mustangs vs. Albuquerque Bulldogs
West Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Albuquerque Bulldogs, falling 18-11. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 15-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

West Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Albuquerque, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.
West Mesa has already played their next contest, a 19-0 win against Del Norte on the 14th. As for Albuquerque, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-8 defeat against Los Lunas on the 11th.
