Madeira put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Greeneview Rams an 8-0 shutout. Madeira's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Their offense was hitting Greeneview from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Ben Reed led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Madeira's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Greeneview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madeira will take on Reading at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greeneview, they will challenge Miami East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
