Woodgrove is a perfect 6-0 against Heritage since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home field against the Pride at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Woodgrove comes in on three and Heritage on four.

On Thursday, Woodgrove got the win against Broad Run by a conclusive 7-1. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Virginia Dowell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

At the plate, Abbey Davis was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Addie McCullers, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

11 must be Heritage's lucky number: they beat Tuscarora with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Pride beat the Titans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-6.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Woodgrove, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.

Heritage's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Woodgrove has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Heritage, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Woodgrove's sizable advantage in that area, the Pride will need to find a way to close that gap.

Woodgrove took their victory against Heritage in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pride turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
