Satellite came tearing into Monday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Palm Bay Pirates 12-4. The result was nothing new for the Scorpions, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Lucas Whobrey looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Brandon Reiter was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of MJ Valdes, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Satellite kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Satellite pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Palm Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Satellite wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Central on the 11th. As for Palm Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Viera on the 12th.
