Mason Burton turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bullitt Central is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Burton and Bullitt Central will challenge Southern at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will enter the matchup having just beaten Kentucky Country Day, so the Cougars will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
