Football Recap: Liberty Piles Up the Points Against JW North

There's no place like home for Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the JW North Huskies 34-7 on Thursday. That looming 34-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bison yet this season.

It was another big night for Trent Hallis, who rushed for 100 yards on only ten carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards.

Hallis was just one part of a punishing run game: Liberty was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 291 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Liberty's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for JW North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
