Volleyball Recap: Southmoore Find Success

Southmoore not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Shawnee Wolves 3-0. This was a revenge game for the SaberCats: when they faced off against the Wolves on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Southmoore's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Shawnee, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Coming up, Southmoore will take on Putnam City North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the SaberCats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shawnee, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Eisenhower on the 16th.
