Basketball Recap: Merino Comes Up Short

Merino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Sedgwick County Cougars 74-45. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 59-49.

Merino's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Sedgwick County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Merino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sedgwick County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Haxtun at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
