Baseball Recap: Smith Valley Wins Going Away Against Carlin

Smith Valley never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over the Carlin Railroaders. The Bulldogs have beaten the Railroaders the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Railroaders has come to flipping the script.

Luke Lannom was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lannom was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. He has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

In other batting news, Wyatt Wulfing was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Devin Gleason was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
