Baseball Recap: Biggsville West Central Takes a Loss

Biggsville West Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-5 to the Bureau Valley Storm. That's two games in a row now that the Heat have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Biggsville West Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Vancil, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Biggsville West Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bureau Valley, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Biggsville West Central will venture away from home to face off against Princeville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bureau Valley, they will take on Putnam County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
