Volleyball Recap: Abundant Life Academy Triumphs

Abundant Life Academy won the last time they faced Lacordaire Academy and things went their way on Monday too. Abundant Life Academy walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lacordaire Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for Abundant Life Academy.

Abundant Life Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18.

Analissa Bravo paced Abundant Life Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Bravo got some help from Stephanie Barnes and her nine assists. Barnes also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lexi Morales, each putting up four.

Abundant Life Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Abundant Life Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Belleville on the 10th. As for Lacordaire Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hun at 4:15 p.m. on the 28th.
