Cooper City extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Fort Lauderdale. Their defense stepped up to hand the Fort Lauderdale Flying L's a 3-0 shutout. Considering the Cowboys have won 12 matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Amanda Will and Michelle Rosen scored all three of Cooper City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 49 goals.

Cooper City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven contests. As for Fort Lauderdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-2.

Cooper City will be playing in front of their home fans against Seminole Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seminole Ridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cooper City surely won't give up without a fight. Fort Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
