The Bishop Moore Hornets will square off against the Lake Mary Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lake Mary will be up against a hot Bishop Moore team: the squad just extended their winning streak to nine. The Hornets blew past Florida State University High School 56-35 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly 21 points.

Bishop Moore relied on the efforts of Blake McCullough, who threw for 357 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes, and Amar'E Johnson, who rushed for 197 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Those 357 passing yards gave McCullough a new career-high. Kenyon Alston was McCullough's top target, picking up 112 receiving yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bishop Moore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 152 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
Another reason for the win was Bishop Moore's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. Florida State University High School's QB won't forget Lucas Bower anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Seminoles' side was Cale Britt, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.
Meanwhile, Lake Mary took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-17 victory over Lake Brantley. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Patriots are ranked 116th).
Lake Mary had a senior duo take command as Noah Grubbs threw for 187 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes and Oshea Faison rushed for 92 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. Grubbs has become a key player for the Rams: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Gavin Isaacs, who rushed for 108 yards on only six carries.
Bishop Moore's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Lake Mary, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Things could have been worse for Bishop Moore, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 34-16 loss to Lake Mary in their previous matchup back in November of 2024.
