Basketball Recap: South Hamilton Hawks vs. Perry Bluejays
South Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt an 88-32 loss at the hands of the Perry Bluejays. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-13.
Owen Myers was his usual excellent self, going 20 of 29 to rack up 47 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals for Perry. The match was Myers' third in a row with at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Geren Kenney, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 13 boards, and 12 assists.
South Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Perry, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.
