Softball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Dora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mescalero Apache Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 on Tuesday.

Dora's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mescalero Apache, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Dora is taking a road trip to take on Loving at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mescalero Apache, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ruidoso at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
