Bagnall was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jeremy Rae, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Preston Fields was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Saint Francis Catholic came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Wolves have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Chris Durstine and Colin Kuruppacherry did most of the damage at the plate: Durstine scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Kuruppacherry scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nate Muir, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Peniel Baptist Academy's record now sits at 7-11. As for Saint Francis Catholic, their record is now 17-6.
Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Peniel Baptist Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. However, it's not like Saint Francis Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .456. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
