Volleyball Recap: Hobart Brickies vs. Highland Trojans
Hobart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Trojans. Hobart took a 1-0 lead headed into the second set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.
Highland found their leader in underclassman Julia Zamudio, who had 28 digs. Those 28 digs set a new season-high mark for her.
Hobart's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Highland, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.
Hobart will square off against Hammond Bishop Noll at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Highland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss vs. Chesterton on the 11th.
