Football Recap: Maplewood Tigers vs. Reynolds Raiders
After flying high against Union City last Friday, Maplewood came back down to earth. The Maplewood Tigers came up short against the Reynolds Raiders on Friday, falling 35-12. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Although Maplewood took the loss, they still got scores from Derek Shaw and Kyle Jordan.
Maplewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Reynolds, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Maplewood will challenge Cochranton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reynolds, they will take on Mercer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
