Basketball Game Preview: Kodiak Bears vs. Colony Knights

Kodiak hasn't had much luck against Colony recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Kodiak Bears will look to defend their home court against the Colony Knights at 4:30 p.m. Kodiak has given up an average of 54.7 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Kodiak is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were outmatched by Colony and fell 66-16. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Knights are ranked second).

The win was the seventh in a row for Colony, bringing their record for this year to 17-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Kodiak, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.
