West posted their closest win since September 4th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Leavenworth PIONEERS 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

West's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-9-1. As for Leavenworth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, West will take on Basehor-Linwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leavenworth, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Pleasant Ridge at 6:00 p.m.
