Softball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Fairview duked it out with DeQuincy on Monday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since March 19, 2024.

Fairview now has a losing record of 5-6. As for DeQuincy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will venture away from home to take on Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for DeQuincy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Vinton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
