Softball Recap: George Washington Prep Generals vs. Dymally Challengers

After flying high against University Pathways Public Service Academy last Monday, George Washington Prep came back down to earth. The George Washington Prep Generals fell just short of the Dymally Challengers by a score of 20-19 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (16), George Washington Prep still had to take the loss.

Da'Yonnie Grady stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Holland Allen, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances.

On Dymally's side, they got a massive performance out of Keeani Smith, who went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs.
