Baseball Recap: Branham's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Branham dropped their record down to 10-6 on Friday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Willow Glen Rams by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bruins have suffered against the Rams since May 25, 2021.

As for Willow Glen, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since March 28th.

For Willow Glen's part, Spencer Bartlinski made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Bartlinski was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.
