Sutton entered their tilt with Sandy Creek on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Katie Baldwin paced Sutton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Baldwin got some help from Avery Smith and her 15 assists.

Sutton's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Sandy Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 18-11.

Sutton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Nebraska Christian on the 21st. As for Sandy Creek, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Doniphan-Trumbull on the 20th.
