Baseball Recap: Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Leadership Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenn Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Leadership Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hank Gaston, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. With that strong performance, Gaston is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game.

Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Glenn, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

Leadership Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-2 win against Bishop McGuinness on the 14th. As for Glenn, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against Reagan on the 14th.
