Basketball Game Preview: Jackson Polar Bears vs. Lorain Titans

The Jackson Polar Bears will take on the Lorain Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jackson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Jackson is returning to their home court after beating Ellet on theirs, despite the fact Ellet has dominated at home this season. Jackson came out on top against Ellet by a score of 60-53 on Wednesday. Given the Polar Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Orangemen are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lorain didn't have too much trouble with Bedford on Thursday as they won 49-35.

Lorain is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Jackson, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
