Sipes Came Up Big in Fredericktown's 31-0 Victory

Starting off the list is Fredericktown's Blake Sipes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sipes rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 95 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.

For the year, Sipes has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 99.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 94.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 142 rushing yards.

Aidan Burke Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Aidan Burke posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 63 yards.

Danville pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Burke and Danville will challenge Fredericktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Joshua Byers Makes It Two for Danville

Another Danville player making an appearance on this list is Joshua Byers. He picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles.

For the season, Byers has averaged 15.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 5 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.75 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 12.63 rushing yards.

Northmor Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Cowin Becker

Cowin Becker was instrumental in extending Northmor's winning streak to eight on Friday. Becker did his part (and then some), picking up 43 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 61 yards for the 'W'.

Northmor's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Becker will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Cardington-Lincoln on Friday.

Caleb Lucas Turns in Season-Best Performance

Caleb Lucas produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Danville to the win on Friday. Lucas picked up a sack, made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended a pass.

Lucas must have Centerburg's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lucas saw the Trojans), he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
