Manchester had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays as they made off with a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Manchester got a massive performance out of Clayton Colvin, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Applegate, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Manchester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Manchester pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
